Americus Area Employer Committee's Career Fair

The Americus Area Employer Committee hosted a Career Fair in partnership with South Georgia Technical College on May 1, 2008.  The Career Fair is the Employer Committee’s most significant fund raising project.  Nearly 250 job seekers discussed their qualifications with the area’s leading employers.

The Americus Area Employer Committee's quarterly meeting was held April 17th in the Faculty Dining Room of Georgia Southwestern State University's Marshall Student Center.  The guest speaker was Vickie Henson, Georgia Employer Committee Coordinator, who explained the business advantages of participating in Committee activities.
