SWGA Job Fair

Approximately 300 job seekers from all over the Southwest GA area came to the Cloud Livestock Facility located at the Bainbridge/Decatur Co. Fair Grounds on May 6, 2008, from 1:00 pm-6:00 pm to meet with Human Resource Directors from approximately 30 different agencies in hopes of finding employment and gaining career guidance. The event, sponsored by the Georgia Department of Labor/Bainbridge Career Center and the SWGA Employer Committee, was one of the largest Job Fairs held in several years throughout the four-county areas of Decatur, Early, Miller and Seminole counties. Job seekers were able to speak one on one with employers, complete applications, submit resumes, and receive guidance on completing or refining their resume if needed.
