For the eighteenth consecutive year, South Metro Employer Committee hosted the Children’s Christmas Party. The honorable guests were greeted by Santa’s Tireless Helpers assigned to South Metro Employer Committee when they arrived, and immediately began a festive fun filled event complete with food, songs, manicures, games and presents. South Metro CPR TrainingThe regular meeting of the "Rising Star" South Metro employer committee featured a special treat and value added service. The June meeting was devoted to improving awareness and increasing the capacity to prolong life. We welcomed Mike Willingham from the American Heart Association who first shared startling statistics about low survival rates of heart attack victims and he followed up with CPR training. Breakfast and a Seminar at Atlanta Tech On March 26, 2007, a breakfast and briefing was held at Atlanta Technical College. It was sponsored by South Metro’s Employer Committee. After feasting on breakfast, employers were fed from a buffet of information, provided by Dan O’Brien, Group Supervisor at U.S. Immigration and Olivia Jones, Senior Investigator, of U.S. Wage and Hour.Read more

 

South Metro EC bring joy to kids for Christmas

South Metro Christmas partySouth Metro’s employer committee held its annual Children’s Christmas party 12-14-06. Each year the committee selects a group of children to invite for fun, food and festivities. This year, our honored guests were students at Turner Middle School. We sang songs, played games and had student presentations. We even had a special visit from Brother Claus who provided entertainment and handed out much deserved presents to the students. Read more
