Eighth Annual Community Career Fair

The Georgia Department of Labor/Tifton Career Center, Tiftarea HR/Employer Committee and Moultrie Technical College(Tifton Campus) have joined together to sponsor the Eighth Annual Community Career Fair. This event will allow employers and organizations to display their business, talk to graduating students and job seekers, take applications, and interview prospective applicants. Read more

 

First Annual Retail Career Expo

The Georgia Department of Labor/Tifton Career Center, Tiftarea HR/Employer Committee, Downtown Development Authority, Tifton-Tift County Chamber of Commerce and Leroy Rogers Senior Center have joined together to sponsor the First Annual Retail Career Expo. The Retail Career Expo was held on Tuesday October 11th, 2011, from 2:00pm until 4:00pm at Leroy Rogers Senior Center in Tifton. Read more

 

First Annual Hospitality/Restaurant Career Expo

The Georgia Department of Labor/Tifton Career Center, Tiftarea HR/Employer Committee, Tiftarea Hospitality Association (TAHA), Tifton-Tift County Chamber of Commerce and the Hilton Garden Inn of Tifton have joined together to sponsor the First Annual Hospitality/Restaurant Career Expo. The Hospitality/Restaurant Career Expo was held on Wednesday September 28th, 2011, from 2:00pm until 4:00pm at the Hilton Garden Inn in Tifton. Read more

 

Work Ethics Project

The Tiftarea Employer Committee and the Business Education Partnership Committee are working on developing a work ethics project that can be presented in the school systems. The project will encompass these categories falling under work ethics: Attendance, Character, Teamwork, Appearance, Attitude, Productivity, Organizational Skills, Communication, Cooperation, Respect, Substance Abuse, and Safety.
