Tifton Employer Committee Work Ethics Project
The Tiftarea Employer Committee and the Business Education Partnership Committee are working on developing a work ethics project that can be presented in the school systems. The project will encompass these categories falling under work ethics: Attendance, Character, Teamwork, Appearance, Attitude, Productivity, Organizational Skills, Communication, Cooperation, Respect, Substance Abuse, and Safety.
The project will be filmed scenes involving each different situation in a job setting, and a school setting.
The project will ultimately be developed into a work ethics presentation for high school and middle school students. The businesses/organizations that we have completed filming at are Belks in Tifton, Exopack, Turner Fine Furniture, Georgia Dept. of Labor/Tifton Career Center, Heatcraft, and Holiday Inn.
Presented are photo's of the development process. Also, puppets and puppet stages will be purchased and used for work ethics presentations that will be presented in the elementary schools on these topics: Attendance, Character, Teamwork, Appearance, Attitude, Productivity, Organizational Skills, Communication, Cooperation, and Respect.
