This seminar is designed to meet the needs of supervisors, managers, human resource professionals, business owners and safety/risk managers who want to operate effectively within the legal climate that will affect their workplace in 2010. The proposed changes of 2009 have not yet been finalized as we face additional changes in 2010. Being prepared for these changes that will impact your business is critical! In order to take the steps needed to protect both you and your employer from costly litigation, you need to know what changes you need to make. In addition to making the required legal changes, you need to be able to focus on helping your business survive in economic times like none of us have ever experienced. Understanding of these changes is important to reducing conflict and maintaining a productive work environment. Seminar attendees will learn how to anticipate the upcoming/predicted legislation so as to reduce the risk of litigation. You may not be able to learn this information easily from your current supervisors/ managers--they are struggling, too. What you learn here could help you change your practices to ensure your company is conducting business in a way that is consistent with both the letter of the law and the intent of the law. This seminar provides 4.25 hours of HRCI credits for those that need the credits to maintain their GPHR, PHR & SPHR certification. Our speakers, most of them Georgia Super Lawyers, will send you back to your workplace with new confidence and updated skills you can implement immediately!
