What types of businesses or organizations make up your Employer Committee?
MM: - Retail, HR Management, Financial Institutions, Correctional Facilities, and Manufacturing, Service Industry.
What do you believe is unique about your Employer Committee?
MM: - We are a very personable group who are not only business associates, but friends. Good working relationship with our employers.
What do you believe is your Employer Committee's biggest challenge for your area, regarding the workforce?
MM: - Job Retention
Why should I join your Employer Committee?
MM: - To play a more active role in this community and benefit from the knowledge and experiences of other committee members.
How active is your Employer Committee working in your community?
MM: - We are not as active as other committees, but are working to change that.
Has your Employer Committee received any awards or special recognition?
MM: - No.
What future trends does your Employer Committee see in employment needs in your area?
MM: - Skilled Labor
In the future, what would you most like to accomplish as an EMR?
MM: - Expanding membership and increasing activity in the community. Getting all four counties we serve involved with the committee.
