This summer, Georgia Department of Labor Deputy Commissioner Melanie Stockwell and Legislative Liaison Kash Trivedi have traveled throughout the state meeting with local employer committees and providing them with important information regarding legislation passed by the Georgia General Assembly. These sessions offer employers a great opportunity to learn about new laws enacted and to ask questions as to how the new laws and changes could affect their business. The discussions have also provided valuable information regarding hope scholarships and grants.
